Logger for Netflix ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension collects, uses, and safeguards your information when you use our service to track your Netflix viewing history.
2. What Information Do We Collect?
We only collect specific data related to your activity on Netflix.com to fulfill the extension's core functionality. This includes:
- Viewing Activity: The titles of movies or TV shows you watch.
- Timestamps: The date and time when you watched the content.
- URLs: The specific Netflix URLs of the content to help you revisit them easily.
We do NOT collect:
- Your Netflix login credentials (usernames or passwords).
- Your payment information.
- Your personal browsing history outside of Netflix.com.
3. How Do We Use Your Information?
The information we collect is used solely for the following purpose:
- To provide the core feature: Creating and displaying a personal log/history of your watched content within the Logger for Netflix interface.

- Local Storage: All data recorded by Logger for Netflix is stored locally on your device using the Chrome Storage API (
chrome.storage).
- No Server Upload: We do not own external servers, and your data is never transmitted, uploaded, or sold to us or any third parties. Your viewing history remains strictly on your browser.
5. Third-Party Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information or viewing history to outside parties.
6. User Control
You have full control over your data. You can:
- View your recorded history at any time via the extension popup.
- Delete specific records or clear your entire history through the extension's settings.
- Uninstalling the extension will verify that all locally stored data related to the extension is removed from your Chrome browser.
